Crazy Mom Quilts
After a lot of thought, prayer, soul many and searching sleepless evenings, I’ve decided that it is time to make a big change. Over the next several months I’m going to be transitioning out of working my business. I am joking with my family that I’ll retire early. AFTER I first started blogging, I thought it would be nice if my blog became “popular”.
Never in my wildest dreams do I think that could ever happen, nor do I realize what I was embarking upon at the right time. I’m extremely grateful for every one of the opportunities that have come about for this reason blog. I never thought just how many people I would meet through this blog that could become my friends in real life.
I never could have dreamed that I would have the ability to call myself an author, fabric designer, design designer or small business owner. I didn’t recognize that I would be logging onto this site for over 12 years to write blog posts that individuals from round the world would read. I thought that I would become a presenter ( never!!!) or instructor, or that I’d enjoy speaking and teaching so much.
I never dreamed that I’d complete so. It has been a lot of effort, but it has been amazing. Now, Personally i think like it is time to move on. My family keeps growing right before my eyes up. My oldest will be graduating senior high school this season and my youngest is right smack dab in middle of middle school.

My child was just a baby once i started this website and my oldest was just starting kindergarten. Man, how time flies. What’s next for me? I’m really not sure. For a person who loves the status quo and hates change, I’m oddly worked up about this. Am I a bit nervous?
Absolutely. I’m getting excited about taking a while to REST and then only God knows exactly what will be next. I’m anxious-in the best possible way-to find out, but I’m not heading to hurry into anything. I’m so grateful that I’m in a position that I’m able to make a huge change like this with no “the next thing” prearranged. I’m also thankful for the support of my husband and kids.
They have been the best cheerleaders I could ever ask for. Going forward, I intend to keep blogging before end of the year. It seems like a fitting time to finish. Up Fri hyperlink up this week We will have yet another end it. I plan to discontinue my PDF patterns by the end of the year, but I am going to continue steadily to ship out my printed patterns (wholesale orders) into next year until my inventory is depleted. I’ve debated selling the business, but I’m uncertain what that could look like or if anyone would even be interested, but it isn’t out of the realm of likelihood.
I intend to remain active on Instagram, so I’m not going away completely. I am getting excited about quilting and sewing certainly, but doing it for FUN rather than with obligation. I have a whole lot of projects to complete up and many, many more that I wish to start. I’ve waaaay much fabric to quit quilting or sewing completely too. That goes without saying probably! For anyone of you who’ve been scanning this blog, whether you’ve been reading since the other day or since the beginning, many thanks so much to be with me on this journey. It really, truly means so much.
